ASUS ROG 5S Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Black) - BRAND NEW review

The 'S' version may be marketed as a gaming phone - and it is a wonderful one at that - but it's also just a fantastic all-round device, just like the ROG Phone 5 was before it. That means it's great for consuming media and doing pretty much everything else - it even has one decent camera.

Great stereo speakers, Speedy performance, 3.5mm headphone port, AptX Adaptive support, Large responsive and bright screen

It's a chunky phone, Beefy battery doesn't last as long as you'd think, No QHD resolution

ASUS ROG 5S Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Black) - BRAND NEW review

Asus ROG Phones have always been one of the best – and very few – gaming-centric smartphones in the market. Every single smartphone in the series has offered something new and improved upon its predecessors, be it in terms of features, performance or game-centric features.

Solid build quality, Impressive battery life, Top-notch performance

ASUS ROG 5S Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Black) - BRAND NEW review

The ROG Phone 5s is quite a device. It has one of the best displays on a smartphone, sheer power, gaming-centric tweaks, and hours of battery life. My only concern is that it’s a large phone and its camera system is not comparable to other high-end phones.

ASUS ROG 5S Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Black) - BRAND NEW review

The Asus ROG Phone 5s and the 5s Pro are very good smartphones. However, the improvements compared to the predecessor are only minor, so the question arises whether the upgrade was necessary at all.

strong performance, but without advantages over the predecessor, many interfaces, Audio jack with quad DAC, great speakers, bright and accurate display

no wireless charging, no microSD support, heavy, no IP certification

ASUS ROG 5S Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Black) - BRAND NEW review

Really like this phone. Upgraded from the ROG Phone 3 and i'm very happy. Apart from the cooler slot changing and not being supplied with a new one so I cant use the old cooler. Losing on screen buttons to the new version of Android is a pain and causes problems with apps with swipe functions.
