Amazing...

I love this motherboard personally. The backplate made it a little difficult to line up and set in place but when I got it everything was beautiful and working. The wifi built in was working right off the bat. This motherboard is a must have. I'm running an i7 8700 with it and performance is great.

Easy overclock and set up

So much to say about this motherboard. It's user friendly manual provides more than enough information to guide new first time builders to have great success. With a clean design and RGB to match all your components there just isn't much better out there on the market.

Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) Review

The Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero is one of two boards in this Z390 group that fall right into the mid-range of the modern Intel motherboard market – and this board is £15 more expensive than the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9.

Consistent; well-balanced performance; Attractive physical design; Solid core specification

Rivals have more connectivity; A little pricier in some circumstances

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WiFi)

Need a break from the relentless AMD coverage The ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WiFi) is a premium Z390 motherboard from ASUS that promises top-tier performance and a classic ROG aesthetic. AMD might have stolen the show this year, but Intel still carries an edge at the top end of gaming performance.

Attractive neutral aesthetic; Good "out of box" performance; Good RGB LED implementation; Great BIOS; Excellent audio

Unsophisticated VRM design; Overclocking; Software bloat
