One Week In, Great Monitor

With monitors, you get what you pay for. I spend most of my day staring at a computer screen, so I was willing to spend a bit more on something that I'm going to be (hopefully) staring at for thousands of hours over the next few years.

My Apple Cinema Display (30") from 2008 had finally died and I was in the market for a 4k monitor; At first, I was looking at the 28" class and $500 class and got a Samsung; It was not usable for me and it was then I learned the difference between a TN and IPS monitor.

I've only encountered one problem and I have one quibble; (1) The problem is that I could not get the HDMI to display at 60 Hz; Yes, I used the proper one of three HDMI ports and my NVIDIA GeForce 960 card is more than capable of supporting this.

Asus PA328Q ProArt 4K Monitor Review

Kitguru says: The Asus PA328Q delivers a beautiful, accurate image from the extensive colour palette, making it ideal for a semi pro designer or photographer

Built to the highest standards; class leading UI; colour rendition is excellent; fast enough for gaming; stand implementation is excellent; thin bezel

its not cheap; splendid modes can disable some important settings; no facility hardware calibration

Great....but

Very high quality stand. The monitor is basically plug and play. Beautiful look to the images. The only issue was that with a black background there was a long purple cloud of color on one side of the screen. BH of course returned it with no hassle.

Well it is a lot of money. On a positive my spyder pro did not change the calibration except for brightness which is to be expected. On a negative, if you want to wall mount it the be prepared for a lot of faf. I think the holes on the back to mount a third party wall mount are totally inadequate.

Mouse and keyboard lag with Macbook --otherwise a gorgeous display (not recommended for Mac)

Beautiful screen--love size and resolution. DOES NOT work with my MACBOOK. Both the mouse and keyboard LAGGED. Returned it and got a BenQ 3200UHD, which works perfectly.

BIG, HUGE, BRIGHT and SHARP

The greatest, to edit audio and video. That's what I bought it for, and I don't regret it. This is the monitor I have been waiting for. To graduate from 13 to 19, and then 23 and 27 inches to this one, is just the utmost.

Since Asus' £3,000 PQ321QE monitor first terrified our credit cards back in 2013, 4K displays have come tumbling down in price. What we haven't seen so far, though, is any 4K display that's worthy of professional use – until, that is, the Asus PA328Q arrived on the scene.

Asus PA328Q ProArt 32-inch UHD Monitor

After all the testing is done can we still call the PA328Q a professional-grade monitor We believe the answer is yes based on its superb accuracy, clear bright picture and flexible calibration system.

Super-accurate color without calibration; bright; razor-sharp image; solid build; good value; Ultra HD resolution

No wide-gamut option; brightness non-adjustable in sRGB mode; poor black field uniformity on our sample
