Asus PB287Q review

Unless you're a design professional, creative artist, videographer or gaming fanatic, you probably don't need a 4K computer monitor. The same can be said for most luxury items: I'm not a professional fisherman, but I'd love to own a boat.

"Good Panel, Annoying menu and some odd quirks"

The Good: Excellent picture quality. The height and rotation adjustment on the stand is excellent. 60hz over display port 1.2. The Bad: Display port 1.2 isn't enabled by default so you have to figure out how to enable it before you can get 60hz at 4k. My monitor doesn't line up with the base.

ASUS PB287Q 28" 4K UHD Monitor 3840x2160 1ms GTG 2xHDMI+DisplayPorts,

Very pleased with this monitor and the service provided. Arrived promptly, contains all the cables needed (which was a bonus surprise). The resolution on videos and so on is huge and pretty impressive and there's some nice features like the A4 page overlay from the menus.

works at 2560x1440 @ 60hz also!!!

There is a bit of color shift as your viewing angle gets wider, but for a single user sitting in front of it you wont notice it, This is a great product, even at the inception of a burgeoning new standard. There have not been any issues with this thing for me, just set up, calibrate and go!!!

Asus PB287Q Review

Ultra HD monitors have become much cheaper in a very short space of time, and the £600 Asus PB287Q is sure to entice buyers with its price alone. The PB287Q comes hot on the heels of the AOC U2868PQU and the Dell P2815Q at £600, and both of these monitors had problems.

ASUS PB287Q True 4K (UHD) Monitor Review

4K resolution comes to the desktop PC arena with ASUS' PB287Q, and believe me when I say it does make your digital world smaller.

The ASUS PB287Q UHD monitor provides users with an upgrade path for long-term usage. The only downside we feel when using this and any UHD display for that matter is that you'll need a powerful GPU to make full use of it. Otherwise, the image quality and performance of this display is excellent.

Excellent colour reproduction; 60Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution via DisplayPort; Great features like Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture

Many applications don't scale well with 4K resolution; Price

We are very pleased with the new Ultra HD monitors. With the introduction of all these new models there is finally going to be some more choices in term of monitors. We also expect that WQHD models will start dropping in price soon, for example the ASUS PB278Q.
