The headset I had before this was a g930 Logitech 7.1 headset. I really love the spatial and positioning sound quality. The A50 quality was substandard and the spatial acuteness was lacking. I purchased this to go on my PC.

Anybody who knows me best will tell you that I'm picky. Actually, to say that I'm picky would be an understatement. I work hard for my money and absolutely demand to feel that I get what I'm paying for, even if my perception of "what I deserve to get" for that money at any given price point is...
Used head set only 5 times than it stop working on me the light want turn on nothing it's brokin do I advice you to not by this prudent or headset
Product easy to apply to my headset and was considerably comfortable, although with prolonged use cause ear ache, and I mean 20+ hours... I would recommend to friends although the headset itself is incomparable quality to its competitors
I purchased the Astro A50 Gen 3 recently. I have previously owned the Astro A50 Gen 1, in addition to headsets made by Turtle Beach and LucidSound. I can say with certainty that the A50 Gen 3 blows other gaming headsets away. The audio quality is excellent.. The battery life is also very good.
Sound quality isn’t amazing, though the EQ software allows you to fine tune things, the headphones themselves just aren’t at a comparable quality level to the price. The base is works but you need to hold your mouth just right to get the charging points to line up despite them being magnetised
Astro A50 vs. Logitech g930 I recently purchased the Logitech g930 headphones but returned them for the Astro A50. In this review it will be a direct comparison of the 2. Also, the headphones are being used on an iMac. A50 Advantages: Sound is significantly better.
Astro Gaming's new A50 wireless gaming headset follows its predecessors as one of the most impressive, and pricey, headsets on the market. It rings in at a hefty but justifies its price tag with excellent audio quality and a full feature set, including an attractive charging cradle.
Excellent sound quality; Very comfortable; Convenient charging cradle
Expensive; Bundle/cradle only works with either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One; No wired option for mobile devices
So, how can you save money buying them EASY!! Go get just the headset from thatebay.complace $50.00, Then go buy the usb dongle at astro for 40.00... There ya go. The best set of headphones, you'll ever own -PERIOD- --Also grab the dolby software for the usb dongle at astro.
Love'em Can;t say enough about them
The price $300.00
It's my opinion that the Astro A50 have incredible sound great volume and that they are wireless very comfortable. They only draw back is and it's very small is that there is no custom EQ if you want that then get the A40 TR and all of your needs are met.
Great sound
Very little sound customization
