The Asko DBI653IB is a great dishwasher. We absolutely love the size as we can fit so many dishes in as well as wine glasses, pots and all the cuttlery we could ever want. With a 5 star water rating it is super efficient whilst being quiet as well. The drying feature is our favourite feature as the entire load comes out bone dry. Would highly recommend this dishwasher!

We love this dishwasher! The stainless steel is fabulous, requiring no cleaners or polishes, just a damp cloth wipe over. The controls on the top of the door are so easy to read with no bending for access. The drying option is great, no more wet stuff, even has a 'plastics cycle'! Fast delivery. Very happy!

After 1 year, I couldn't be more pleased. it has great capacity and the 1hr hygiene clean is so effective which many competitors don't have. The shortened time really does help in a practical way, like getting all the dished you use to prepare foods for guests, can be cleaned and packed away before they arrive, so you can reload again that night. I had another brand which had to be replaced twice within the warranty period so I was very picky. Also really easy to use.

This dishwasher has broken down twice in the last six months of owning it. The first time it broke down it took three weeks to have it repaired. The second time it broke down it will take four to five weeks to repair, I am very disappointed with this product. The previous dishwasher we had was also an Asko and it was great which is why we went with another Asko. I hope that this is the last time we need it repaired otherwise I will be requesting a replacement.

Pros: It's quiet, the capacity for cutlery is great and when you use the timer setting to shorten runs (1.5hrs) for stuff that's not tooo dirty it's pretty fast. (Otherwise can be quite slow but I think that's all modern dishwashers) Cons: The top tray cofiguration isn't awesome I often find we have more cups than we can fit because they only sit nicely on the right hand side. The racking has weird spacing on the top which doesn't work with small bowls at all. Small-Medium sized plates don't fit on the top shelf which is an issue for kids melamine plates which can't go on the bottom shelf. My parents Miele is a much better configured top rack than our Asko. We have a thermomix and if you leave too much stuff from something thick like a smoothy or gravy it almost guaranteed clogs the fine filter on the bottom. You have to pre-rinse the thermomix otherwise it stops mid cycle.

Lovely seamless lines and all made of steel not plastic, however, the recommended "Eco" program takes 3 1/2 hrs - how can this be 'Eco'???. Quick wash, washes well but everything is still very wet and requires drying with a tea towel (can't use super dry option with this program). Electricity bill has escalated - won't be buying another.
