Works as an Arlo accesory but I would not bother
I bought it and used it for two days. It took out my Battery DC doorbell! *Buyers please note, this needs an AC doorbell*. If you wire your DC doorbell, it will 'Ding' but not 'Dong'... leaving the circuit stuck in the on postion. Tech Support told me that the reason was because I needed 18V. So I supplied 18V ... and pffft! The doorbell burnt out. Tech Support was wrong... I needed an AC chimer/doorbell, not a DC battery doorbell and certainly not 18V. This information is not clear in the packaging.
Response with the Arlo camera and Arlo mobile app was good. I was able to carry out a reasonable dialog with the person at the door. Response from pressing to doorbell to hearing it on my phone app is about 5 secs.
If you buy this, you need an AC doorbell or the Arlo Chime ... which isn't sold in Australia yet. You also need a camera and position it in a obtrusive location to view the face. This product also does not stream to Google Home. When you add it all up, it is no
