Expensive but works extremely well

Love the fact it just magnetically attaches to the ipad and charges itself now just have to try not to lose it and tell my 2 y old it’s MY pen : ) love it, writes like a pen, no delay, no need for paper like either in my opinion..

A little expensive but a great item nonetheless

Been using it for note taking in online course and occasionally, for drawing. It feels so smooth and there's zero lag time - it's almost like writing directly on a paper. Love it!

Perfect purchase

Came promptly and in excellent condition. Just the tool I wanted. Was a little more expensive than some other variations but I wanted the best. Excellent service from PBTech - which is why I always go back to them.

Works very well - at a price

Extremely expensive for what it is, but what it is works extremely well. Wireless charging with magnetic attachment to the ipad is very well realised. It is comfortable in the hand and is not too short (a big deal for those with large hands). It is just so surprising that there isn't an equivalent product being offered for digital artwork, and at a fraction of the price. I typically lean towards Android (Oneplus for phone for example) but at time of writing the ipad+Pencil+Procreate is really the best combination for having a portable art tablet.

Of course this is awesome but a word of warning.

This is a must have for the iPad Pro but you should never leave it uncharged for more than a week otherwise the lithium battery can fail and you will have a dead pencil on your hands. Something that is not in the manual.

Excellent

I brought this pencil for daughter's Christmas gift for her ipad pro. No complaints from her, busy drawing since.

Great features but over priced

Apple always demand a price premium for their products and this is the case with the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil. It does what it says on the box and IME it is the best tool for creating digital artwork on the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro tablets. It will not work on other iPads, for which you need the similar expensive 1st Gen Apple Pencil. The major shortcoming of both Apple Pencils is the lack of any passive soft rubber tip on the opposite end of these pencils to the active tip. The active tip is hard, and unless you cover it with a purpose designed silicone cover, it makes an unpleasant 'tapping' noise every time you select something on the screen. Adding a softer, less precise passive tip to both Pencils is really a no-brainer for any industrial designer. Perhaps it will come with the 3rd Gen and yet more 'Apple Premium' to pay.

Worth the money

I am so happy with my Apple Pen, it was well worth the money and has increased what I am able to do on my iPad.

Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) Review

Apple's second-generation Pencil is so much better than the first-generation model that it's a reason to choose the 2020 model of the iPad Air, which is compatible with it, over the base-model iPad, which can only use the original Pencil. Though $129 is a steep price for a stylus, serious artists and design professionals should spare no expense for top-quality tools, and the new Pencil's convenient magnetic charging, clever design, and impressive functionality make it our Editor's Choice.Evolution of the Pencil There's a huge world of stylus-compatible devices and tablets beyond the iPad, but Apple's tablets are the first choice for many artists and educators because of their ease of use (better than Surface tablets) and deep tablet-centric software library (better than Samsung tablets). Capacitive styli have enabled iPad artists since the first model came out in 2010, and Apple's 2015 launch of the Pencil brought the company's effortless setup and tight integration with its OS in...

For artists and creative professionals, Apple's second-generation Pencil is the only iPad stylus worth considering.

Extremely accurate; Feels great in the hand; Charges while attached to iPad
