Fails after less than a year

Just google "magic trackpad haptic feedback failed" and you'll see loads of entries complaining about the haptic feedback failing on these trackpads. This is the feeling of the physical click when the pad is pressed. My unit has failed after 8 months. The battery life has suffered too.

Great

I started using the Trackpad a short time ago and I really love it. The gestures went straight into my muscle memory and the battery seems to last forever. The package contains everything needed and pairing is simply done by connecting the Trackpad via USB shortly.

Love it!

Apple never seem to disappoint. Lots of new features, it last forever before you have to re-charge! definitely recommend for anyone with an iMac/ Mac mini. 10/10

Brilliant if you don't like a mouse

Brought to use with my new iMac. Unfortunately I haven't had to use it as I do prefer to use a mouse. I did use one like this at a family members, thought it was a good idea. I think if you use a laptop you will use this with ease. As the pad is the same. Not laptop literate.

It was noisy the first time I used it and the second time I tried to use it, it didn't work at all. So I bought immediately the one sold by Apple.

These older models were all powered by AA batteries and looked a lot bulkier than these new products. The Magic Mouse 2, the Magic Trackpad 2 and the Magic Keyboard all have internal rechargeable batteries that are charged using a Lightning cable through a discreet port either on the back or the...
