Apple Macbook Pro MK1A3 M1 Max 16.2" (32GB RAM, 1TB, Space Gray) - BRAND NEW review

The MacBook Pro 16-inch is, along with the 14-inch model, the best Apple laptop I’ve used in years. A lot of what makes this machine so special is that it reneges on many of the controversial changes Apple made in 2015 with its now-infamous MacBook Pro redesign.

Stunning display, Amazing performance, The ports and MagSafe are back, You want all the power on the go Whether you go for the M1 Pro and M1 Max, you’re getting a seriously capable machine that feels very much in a league of its own for creative tasks.

RAM upgrades are expensive, Price is key For what you’re getting, I don’t think any versions of this laptop are overpriced. However, if you’re not going to make the most of the performance on offer then you’re probably better off with the MacBook Air M1.

Apple Macbook Pro MK1A3 M1 Max 16.2" (32GB RAM, 1TB, Space Gray) - BRAND NEW review

The MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) is one of the best laptops creative professionals can buy, thanks to its brilliant performance, stunning screen and long battery life. However, it is large and heavy, which is why the 14-inch MacBook Pro may be a better buy, unless you want the larger screen and longer...

Excellent performance, Stunning mini-LED display, Extremely long battery life, Plenty of ports

Large, Heavy, Expensive

Apple Macbook Pro MK1A3 M1 Max 16.2" (32GB RAM, 1TB, Space Gray) - BRAND NEW review

The most niche of MacBooks is also the most impressive. But even if you ditch the M1 Max, there’s a lot to like.

Breathtaking display, Impressive speakers, Improved connectivity, Hugely powerful

Expensive, Heavy, No Centre Stage, Value reliant on specific workflows

Apple Macbook Pro MK1A3 M1 Max 16.2" (32GB RAM, 1TB, Space Gray) - BRAND NEW review

The new MacBook Pro 16 leaves a slightly better overall impression compared to the smaller 14-inch model . The bulkier chassis design is not quite as noticeable and the full-fledged version of the M1 Pro is more convincing.

high-quality and sturdy chassis, great display with accurate colors, extremely high HDR brightness, very quiet fans, very high system performance, extremely efficient M1 Pro SoC, long battery runtime, best speaker system on a laptop, up to 64 GB RAM and 8 TB SSD

notch (does not look good and there are some functional issues), SDR brightness limited to 500 nits, constant PWM flickering and slow response times, neither HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 6 160 MHz, nor Bluetooth 5.2, only 1-year warranty, no maintenance options, RAM & SSD upgrades are extremely...

Apple Macbook Pro MK1A3 M1 Max 16.2" (32GB RAM, 1TB, Space Gray) - BRAND NEW review

The Apple MacBook Pro is excellent as a workstation. Its M1 Max SoC can handle nearly all types of workloads, including demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering. It also doesn't get overly hot or loud under load and doesn't throttle much over time.

Excellent port selection includes a full-size HDMI and Thunderbolt 4 ports., Screen displays accurate colors and supports wide color gamut., SoC can handle demanding workloads like video editing and gaming., Fast storage drive., Minimal performance loss over time.

No USB-A ports for wired peripherals.

Apple Macbook Pro MK1A3 M1 Max 16.2" (32GB RAM, 1TB, Space Gray) - BRAND NEW review

After using the Mac for 3 months now, I couldn't be any happier about this Computer. Ultra fast and the battery lasts at least 10 hours, most of the time even longer (depends on what you doing). It is an expensive product, but 'worth every cent :)
