Pros:
- Good for finding misplaced items, Precision location with iPhone 11 and above, Compact, lightweight and waterproof
Cons:
- Expensive if used with accessories, Doesn’t work with Android, AirTag can scuff easily

Apple AirTag review: I once was lost, but now am found
If you've coped so far without a lost and found technology service, then this doesn't add anything huge to the mix. But if you lose things a lot, this could be your saviour.
Pros:
- Really easy to setup for Apple users
- Replaceable battery - lasts for up to a year
- Works with the Find My app and network
- Precision Finding detail to track down an item with step-by-step guidance
Cons:
- Needs additional accessory to attach to your items
- Doesn't alert you when left behind or lost
- Speaker could be louder
- Bluetooth and Ultra Wideband doesn't connect until about 10m away
- No altimeter - so can't account for height/floors

Some hardware quibbles and software quirks aside, AirTags are very capable item trackers. While there are definitely features Apple could add, this is a solid first start, especially with nearly a billion iPhones backing up the Find My network.
Pros:
- Small and simple design, User-replaceable battery, Pairing is dead simple, Precision Finding works great, Hard to beat the scale of the Find My network
Cons:
- Scuffs easily, Not meant for theft protection, Can't customize the email and phone number for lost mode, You need a third-party accessory to attach it to keys or bag straps
