Apple's $250 AirPods Pro do all of the things that the standard AirPods do . But, with a new design and new features, do they do it better? The Pro model includes noise cancellation -- something users and reviews have asked Apple for since the AirPods launched -- and a new design.

If you are a dedicated AirPods user then it is time to update and you will enjoy every bit of it. If you have been contemplating a new pair for AirPods then it makes more sense to get these than the older version, if you can afford it.

After being teased and appearing in a few leaks, Apple, in the latter half of 2019 launched the AirPods Pro that is aimed at audio enthusiasts that want nothing but the best in terms of design, performance and functionality.

So, after giving these a lengthy test over the few months I have to say the AirPods Pro are winners in my book. Comfortable fit, excellent noise cancelling and great battery life. While catered to iOS they work just as good on Android.

Both models deliver equally effective levels of noise-cancellation (though, as mentioned, the ear pressure caused by the ANC on the AirPods Pro is more apparent). And both are comfortable to wear, though the AirPods Pro certainly offer a sleeker design.

By the time I decided to buy the AirPods Pro from the Apple online store here about a month ago, there was a seven-day to 10-day wait for delivery. Since I was travelling to the United States, I took a chance that I would be able to buy it there.

AirPods Pro are so good that they suddenly make regular AirPods difficult to recommend. You should absolutely spend the extra $50 on the newer model because they’re easily worth it.

The Apple AirPods Pro is significantly better than the previous AirPods iterations and costs just $50 more than the AirPods (2019) with a wireless charging case. Sound quality has improved, thanks to complete redesign and nozzles that actually seal to the ear.
