Worth it. The sound is great, the air pods stay in my ear while doing anything, and they are easy to pair like any other apple product. I never bought the original AirPods, so I do not have that comparison, but I've been looking for wireless headphones that were waterproof and stayed in my ears and...

Loved the original AirPods, but they would fall out of my ears unless I applied rubber tips. The tips worked great, but wouldn't fit in the AirPods charging case, requiring I carry around a separate case and put them on and off repeatedly.

The new AirPods Pro have already impressed in a number of ways in our early testing - we need to spend more time assessing them, but already the Pro earbuds feel like a marked step up over the original AirPods.

This is my first experience with wireless earphones, I'm much accustomed to apples regular wired EarPods. They're a big adjustment, lot of different features. The sound quality is definitely clearer, but almost edges of the verge of being tinny.

Sound quality is great, anc features great. Take one out of your ear it auto pauses music and activates mic in other airpod. Place it back in your ear and music resumes automatically. Bass is great, staging great. Downside - charging case quality is not the greatest.

I switched on ANC while sitting outside - beside our old and rattling air conditioning unit - not expecting much. For a few seconds I could hear the AirPods configuring themselves (they only do this once) and then suddenly the air conditioner faded away.
