AMD Ryzen 5 3600X review

Holeeeh money, you know .. when you put things in perspective money/perf wise then I am pretty impressed with the 3600X. If you are building a high-end DIY PC, and are in need of a proper performing gaming processor at a fair budget, well here is where the 3600 and 3600X come into play.

Total overkill for gaming.

Upgrading from Ryzen 1600. I was expecting a increase in fps in at least some games, but it seems that even Ryzen 1600 was fully maxing out RTX2060. Some titles might be running a little smoother, but this processor is not really breaking a sweat.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X

Thanks to its high performance and approachable price tag, the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X may just be the best processor for gaming. There isn't a single game that will be held back by this 6-core wonder.

Excellent performance; Affordable; Includes a cooler

Still 6-cores

price to performance off the charts

i spent a fair bit of time looking before deciding to go with this chip instead of the 3700x but when you look at the benchmarks this chip with a 5700xt vs a 3700x with the same card only has about 6 FPS difference in most games at 1440p so why spend the extra $100+ a great option for any new build

AMD 3600X Has surpassed my expectations.

Fantastic CPU, I recommend getting 3600 MHz Ram to make the most of the 1800 MHz 1:1 Ratio FLCK (Infinity Fabric). Max temperatures I got on an 120mm AIO was 63 Degrees Celsius. An B450 will be fine, I use the ASUS ROG B450-F Gaming, was able to get an stable all core overclock of 4.4 GHz on all cores @ 1.390 volts, which resulted with an CPU-z score of 545 single core and 4400 multi core, that's higher than the 9900k stock single core score.

Bang for buck

Decent price to performance CPU if its close to the 3600 in price. If its more than 30 bucks just stick to the 3600. Got mine on sale Used for a about a month. Boosts to 4100mhz all cores with a 240 AIO while gaming.
