The compact design of the full unit was needed to fit a brick chimney space over the cooker. Indeed, it was almost the only model that fit and I was lucky something existed for purchase. The unit is unfortunately quite noisy in my set up, perhaps the brick surround reflecting noise that would be baffled in a cabinet. The key limitation in the draw of the exhaust. It does not noticeably avert the flow of steam into itself even at the highest setting. The remote included is also unreliable, but the buttons on the unit are simple and readily accessible. This was an appliance I wanted to love but found just ok.

This is a superbly designed range hood. It is slimline and unobtrusive. The finish is beautiful. We have just integrated this range hood into our newly installed kitchen. Being slim line, it is tucked away and not a feature. The two installed down lights are more than enough and provide brilliant illumination. The fan has a powerful motor with variable speeds and is strong enough for any cooking tasks. The good part? The filters are easily removed and dishwasher safe. A great design, slimline and easy to use.

Bought this for our house 6 months ago and am so happy with our decision. Has powerful suction and love how it has led lights so I don't need to constantly replace bulbs. A couple small improvements I would love is noise reduction as it can be hard to hear conversations sometimes when it's on full suction and when I boil soups the moisture tends to accumulate in the foan behind the steel plate. Other than that it's a great unit. One of my friends actually purchased one after seeing it perform at my house.

I bought this fume hood for our new kitchen in small apartment. It is low profile, yet still has fantastic collection of cooking fumes. My husband and I love to cook and good cooking sometime requires very high heat and some smoke . This hood has no problem keeping our apartment smoke free when cooking at high temps.

I bought this 2 weeks ago, it works well. I am not sure if I should leave the metal flap open, (pull it down) , in order to make it work even better. I am not sure if I can wash the filter every week. Will the dishwasher powder cause damage to the steel of the filter?
