Beautifully made lens

I do a lot of travel landscape photography and was looking for a wide quality lens. I'm impressed the last week I took shots of hillsides with fall foliage and ths lens has great resolution and color balance. Feels like it has no plastic parts. Pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Contrasty; Durable; Reliable

Expensive

Exceptional lens

I have been using this lens for quite some time now and am very pleased with the results. I have a Fuji XE-2 and this lens balances very well with the camera. I use it to force perspective in wide angle for landscape; it's great for architectural images as well as still life imagery.

Love this lens

I was fortunate and able to purchase this lens (a couple of years ago) as part of a bundle with a 32mm for less than the price of what the 12mm sells for today by itself. Its a challenge to shoot with a lens that is so wide (18mm in 35mm perspective) but I do love using it for landscapes.

Up until now Carl Zeiss has been known for creating high quality DSLR lenses, but it has now turned its attention to the professional end of the compact system camera market with two new lenses for Fujifilm X-series and Sony NEX cameras.

This is quite possibly the best selfie lens ever, oh and it's not half bad a nailing landscapes either.

Zeiss Touit 12mm f2.8 review

The Carl Zeiss Touit 12mm f2.8 is a wide-angle prime lens designed for mirror-less system cameras. It's available in two versions for either the Sony NEX or Fujifilm X-mounts, and when fitted to either system, the lens delivers an 18mm equivalent field of view, making it the widest prime lens...

Carl Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 Distagon T* (Sony E) - Brand New review

The Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 is a well-built 12mm wide-angle lens, designed specifically for use on APS-C-sized image sensors in compact system cameras. The Distagon construction uses 11 elements in 8 groups and Carl Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings, which improve light transmission and image contrast by...

Carl Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 Distagon T* (Sony E) - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Carl Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 Distagon T* (Sony E) - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features
