Near fully charged out of the box 98% and a useful indication of residual charge. At 2 weeks use still have over 50% charge. Shave improved after first 3 days as blades bedded in. Easy to clean and looks cool.

A pale imitation of a good idea, but the blades are not sharp enough and the revs (even in 'turbo') are far far too slow. If it was not for the fact it is a shaver and so cannot be returned, I would give it back for a refund. Please, don't waste you money on this.

Compare to the philips s7310 I've been using for the past 3 years. This shaver is both higher in built quality and does a cleaner job. The best part is that it uses USB-C charging means I don't need to carry an extra charger around. Of course, it is still a rotary electric shaver, doesn't compare to hand shave. But I buy it for convenience. And this $65 is on par(if not better) compare to my philips s7000 ($350+), I'd say money well spent. P.S. I checked the spec, this is powered by a japanese mabuchi motor, running speed at 3000 round/min, pretty standard for a rotary shaver.
