For six years my original Sony Bravia preformed perfectly then died on cue. Replaced it another brand which did not measure up (gave it to someone after 3 months). Replaced that with a new Bravia. Store demo'd cheaper model only - but I took a punt and ordered the $500-extra version with onscreen visual aids and better picture - well worth it for my macular dystrophy. Sadly, across various brands, remote controls are getting meaner and user-unfriendly. Maybe corporations want to save a few coins, but removing the single toggle-between-2-channels, for instance, is beyond my comprehension.
