*I am in Japan *I bought this without the remote because I use my Android phone if I even need a remote; I have it mounted on the handlebars of a Specialized Allez XXL size road bike; The vibration is excessive.
nothing

I had two goals when selecting an action cam:not surprisingly, to use as an action cam for skiing and other actiony stuff. The other was to have a compact vlogging camera. The new gopro hero 7 black has gotten rave reviews. If I were only looking for an actioncam, I would probably go with the newer...
Outstanding clarity.Robust build.Slim profile. Excellent stabilization. Outstanding audio. Only drawback is that Sony longer allows you to upload video to Facebook Live. That was why i purchased it in the first place
Everything Is As Advertised
Camera Wi-Fi no longer supported by Sony to allow instant uploads to online social media; No more Facebook Live
Good images quality
I start my review by saying how amazing is the quality of the videos from this little tiny camera and how pleased Iam with my purchase .My first video camcorder was a full VHS Panasonic M7 which I bought around 1990, A very heavy and huge camcorder .I bought more and more camcorders over the many...
Compact action cameras have come a long way in just a few short years, providing outstanding image quality and camera toughness for all extreme shooting situations. GoPro has been the standard household name for these cameras, but an outstanding alternative is Sony's FDR-X3000, providing 4K and Full...
Top quality 4K video from an action camera thanks to the EXMOR sensor and BIONZ processor; Optical SteadyShot leads the way in providing you with smooth video; Built-in GPS allows the camera to collect a ton of data about your adventure; WiFi lets you connect the Live View Monitor; Three pre-set...
Only wide-angle shooting for 4K video; Images provide more noise and less detail than a smartphone image; No built-in screen to assist you in composing
Although nothing spectacular, but it presents a choice that's got capable performance and a large battery. Since the price of premium smartphones is on the rise, this is an option worth considering for those with leaner pockets.
Video quality; Live-view remote; Easy-to-use
None
Sony has been producing SteadyShot-capable Handycam camcorders for some time now. Over the years, the company has refined the tech so as to produce better and more stable footage. It means your favourite memories aren't ruined by wibbly-wobbly video that makes you feel a little seasick.
Excellent image and audio quality; Good optical image stabilisation; Thoughtful design improvements; Long battery life
Poor display on the Live-View Remote Control; Slow to power on (when using the Remote Control; Bulky waterproof case
GPS does not function with this camera anymore due to some issues with Google (). Not worth the premium price if the functions are not available. No mapping, No Speedometer, No GPS date. Sony support will not help or compensate for the missing functions.
I'm guessing that for many people, there's really only one brand of action camera. But of course the major consumer electronics companies have the expertise and resources to do their own to very good effect. Which is what Sony has done in several models over the years.
Very good video quality; extreme depths possible with supplied case; decent app; effective remote controller/screen
Nothing too obvious
