I bought it over a month with my synology cloud system. Its very good fast in writting and loading over 1gb ethernet cable. For a 4 person family i think this is the right size nas hd to store photos and files. Nothing bad to say i am happy with the purchase.

Purchased to replace a failing 6TB drive in my 2 drive QNAP NAS. Before that happens its been plugged in for a month in an external HDD case and been running 24/7 on backup / ransomware recovery duties. The access and read/write speeds when operated directly from the NAS (over USB3) are consistently impressive. Here's hoping it will outlast the failing drive (that has been on for 6 years non-stop). I just wish these puppies were cheaper!
