This 14mm optic for Micro Four thirds compatible cameras from Panasonic offers a relatively bright maximum aperture of f/2.5 in a compact pancake lens body and costs around £290. Miniature size; Excellent sharpness; Fast AF; Low CA; Good value price
Can be quite prone to flare with a bright light in the frame
For what it is – a very small, sharp, fast lens for an affordable price – it's great. The build-quality is also note-worthy. It's the perfect complement to a G series or Pen camera when you're going for portability.
Easily Interchangeable; Fast; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Lightweight; Strong Construction; Super Tiny
Aberration; Fringing
This is a really nice lens for the micro 4/3 system. It is small, light and makes even my E-P2 nearly pocketable. Image quality is very good, focus is fast and at f2.5 it beats just about any wide angle zoom. Highly recommended.
Tiny and fast; a no brainer of a landscape lens
No lens hood included
a perfect pair with 20/1,7 especially if you prefer primes instead of zoom lenses
sharp center; smallest serious m4/3 lens; cheap
corner sharpness not that great; but if you stop down a little improves considerably
Bought this to use with Black Magic POCKET Cinema Camera as a stealth/guerilla/walk around lens. No one even looks twice at me with this, everyone thinks I'm just taking photos.
It's a tiny and incredibly lightweight lens but performance is really excellent when it comes to image quality.
Consistently sharp across the frame; Very small and light; Metal mount
Narrow manual focus ring; Pancake design restricts maximum aperture to f/2.5
