Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 9-18mm f/4-5.6

With the lens attached to an Olympus E-P2 camera body, focusing is essentially silent and surprisingly quick too, thanks to a solution whereby only one compact and lightweight lens element moves on focus.

It's a question of perspective

If you like wideangles, go for it, you won't regret it.

small (unbelievably so); flexible; good quality and good picture quality

No lens hood; slight chromatic aberration; minimum aperture

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THIS!!!

Under no circumstances buy this! I was tempted by a "cashback" offer which requires a receipt. Needless to say, no receipt was included and in the weeks that have followed, none has been forthcoming. If the offer ever existed, I assume the receipt has been stolen.

Olympus Zuiko Digital 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 ED DSA Lens.

I have had a short time to use this lens. I am very satisfied with the result so far, I have wanted a wide angle lens for some time but did not want a fish eye lens. The result so far at 9mm is good.

W/A for underwater

This is an excptionally good lens for use underwater. It has the wide-angle perspective generally considered to be the best for undewater use. If your camera uses micro 4/3 lenses, and it fits into your underwater housing, it is a very good choice. Optical quality is excellent!

Easy To Use; Lightweight; Reliable; Underwater Use

Join the world of ultra-wide photography!

"This is the most expensive lens I've bought for my E-P1 so far, but it's well worth the cost, especially if you can find it on sale. Olympus has pulled off an engineering miracle in creating such a compact ultra-wide zoom.

Good, highly portable

Unbelievably small size for the scene it covers. Contrast is good, detail is moderate (i.e. detail would begin to get fuzzy after approx two levels of zoom). This happens on most ultrawides and cropped sensors due to the span packed on a small space.

Beautifully Sharp

Been looking at an ultra wide lens that didn't break the bank to compliment my 12-40. At first I was a bit sceptical that 9mm would be wide enough but this ticks the boxes. Besides I can also use my square filters with it! A must buy.

Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18mm F4.0-5.6 Lens - Brand New review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present
