Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18mm F4.0-5.6 Lens - Brand New review

Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.

Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better

Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue

OLYMPUS M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18 mm f/4.0-5.6 Wide-angle Zoom Lens

Nice and sharp but some ca on the edges that are easy to correct with acr or Lightroom

I have not yet got used to the folding mech and zoom is opposit to Panasonic Len's but I'll get used to it; not a big problem

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 Lens

The M Zuiko Digital 9-18mm f/4-5.6 was announced at PMA 2010 as the second ultra-wide zoom lens to be released for Micro Four Thirds system cameras (the first was Panasonic's Lumix G Vario 7-14mm lens).

You want a lightweight; wide-angle zoom lens that covers most types of subjects; You'd like a lens that requires no readjustment when you fit polarisers and graduated filters; You require quiet autofocusing for shooting video; You need a lens with adequate flatness of field for architectural

You need close focusing and macro capabilities; You require excellent edge-to-edge sharpness.

Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9-18mm F4.0-5.6 Lens - Brand New review

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

The Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm 1:4-5.6 is without doubt a very good lens indeed, especially for a relatively inexpensive ultra-wideangle zoom. It's sharp even wide open, has negligible distortion, and shows practically no vignetting.

High image quality - decently sharp from centre to corner even wide open; Extremely low distortion; Essentially no falloff/vigmetting; Small and lightweight

Moderate chromatic aberration (although not excessive for an ultra-wide

Olympus Zuiko 9-18mm f/4-5.6 ED

An affordable compact ultra-wide angle lens for Four Thirds system DSLRs, giving an equivalent angle of view of an 18-36mm lens on a full-frame camera.

Compact; lightweight design; Excellent resolution at f/8 throughout the zoom range; Excellent resistance to flare and ghosting; Fast AF

Chromatic Aberrations at 18mm; Resolution towards the edge of the frame at 9mm

Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f4.0-5.6

The new Micro Four Thirds cameras from Olympus and Panasonic may have grabbed all the headlines recently, but Olympus at least seems committed to carrying on with the regular Four Thirds format too.

The Zuiko 9-18mm provides dramatic ultra-wide angle performance at an affordable price. The lens is compact, light and seems sturdy. Images are sharp with vivid colors.

Great at capturing wide angle images, landscapes, and even portraits with somewhat unusual angles; It is very lightweight and portable and works well with the E-520

Perhaps not quite as sharp as some of the higher end lenses but more than acceptable for the price; Images tend to show barrell distortion at the widest angle; Sometimes difficult to use with a flash indoors at the widest end as shadows caused by on camera flash are visible.

bit of a specialty lens

Very nice and compact wide-angle, but the price, moderate f-stop and focus distance limits this to specialty users who need wide-angle for scenery or architectural shots outdoor during the day.

Easily Interchangeable; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Strong Construction

Poor in Low Light
