Nikon Coolpix S9300: The Final Camera

This will probably be the last camera I ever buy but not because it is perfect and has everything I will ever likely need. This camera replaced a Sanyo Xacti that was awarded to me for 20 years' service by my former employer. That was 6 years ago.

Outstanding

Best quality snaps from a compact camera that I have seen. Very robust and idiot proof.

Nikon Coolpix S9300 Review

The Nikon Coolpix S9300 is definite performer. Its 18x optical zoom coupled up with the lens based vibration reduction system allow for great hand-held shots (provided there is enough light). The build quality is superb and for those who like bells and whistles, there's even a GPS chip.

Excellent zoom range with effective stabilization; Effective Scene modes; Compact form factor; Macro mode is very effective

No PASM mode; No option to turn off in-camera noise reduction

Clear and true colors!

I wanted another camera that has the zoom power, picture quality but not the weight to carry around on some of our travel adventures.
The Nikon S9300 has all the qualities I was looking for.

Easy To Use; Fast/accurate auto-focus; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; Great Zoom

Nikon Coolpix S9300

The Nikon Coolpix S9300 is an excellent choice if you want a camera that's easy to use, with a sufficiently powerful zoom and a high enough resolution to offer maximum flexibility. If you're looking for a degree of manual control though, it will feel a little limiting.

Few manual controls; Some wind noise on movies, even with noise reduction

Nikon S9300 Digital Camera Review

Ultimately, the Nikon S9300 digital camera does little to stand out in the travel zoom category. Image quality, which is just okay, is hurt further by the frustratingly unreliable focus system.

Nikon COOLPIX S9300: Review

The Nikon COOLPIX S9300 is definitely one of the new Nikon cameras more attractive market for both the camera body very thin and robust, which features purely globe-trotter (GPS and map onto the world) that intrigue an audience extremely diverse.

Map of the world; EXPEED C2, 18x optical zoom NIKKOR; Machine body extremely subtle; GPS system; 3D shooting mode, System Lens-shift vibration reduction; Compatibility with Eye-Fi X2; 16 MP CMOS sensor

Battery Pack; non-touch Display

Nikon Coolpix S9300 Point & Shoot-...

I have Coolpix S9300. Some of the key features of this camera are: the 16.0 effective Mega pixel and 26MB of built-in memory. S9300 uses the EN-EL12 lithium-ion battery as its predecessor. It holds 3.9 Wh worth of energy, which is just average.

Great value!

When in need of a new digital camera, I looked for a durable, high quality camera with a good zoom. As a student with a very limited budget, the refurbished Nikon Coolpix s9300 was absolutely perfect!
