It's powerful and fairly quiet compared to the last hairdryer which was a professional brand. I feel that the heat emitted is even and doesn't scald the head even on the highest temperature. My hair has been in better condition since using this.

GHD might be better known for its hair straighteners, but it actually covers all aspects of hair styling, with the GHD Air its entry-level at-home hairdryer. I say entry level, but this hairdryer costs £99 – that still makes it a hell of a lot cheaper than the £300 Dyson Supersonic and on a par with...
Powerful and fast-drying; Well-balanced in the hand; Great precision nozzle; Good frizz control; Well designed for right- and left-handed users
Cool shot button can be stiff to hold; Back-mounted controls can be fiddly
So cliche to say but I have never written a review in my life. I always read reviews and I appreciate the people who take the time to do it, but I've never felt compelled to write one myself. I've had a Chi Touch for the past four years and the screen finally stopped working.
Dries Hair Quickly; Even Heat; Lightweight; Reduces Frizz; Sleek Design
I bought this as a replacement for a 'good' Conair, hoping that it would indeed be better quality. And it is! So happy that it is quieter (no high pitched whining) and well balanced and easy to hold and maneuver. I was concerned it might be "heavy" based on other reviews.
There are plenty of hairdryers around at a lower price, so it can sometimes be hard to justify the extra spend, but this is so worth it! As a guy, I can tell a difference in the speed and ease of drying my hair, so it must make such a difference for those with longer hair.
Just love it use it a lot and bought it a month ago
At £99, the GHD Air isn’t a cheap hair dryer by any means (although it is a third of the price of Dyson’s Supersonic offering). Whether it’s worth coughing up the cash for is definitely going to differ from person to person. It feels like a luxury and we’ve definitely enjoyed using it. It’s speedy and efficient, and overall a joy to use. We’ll struggle to go back to a cheaper hair dryer now that we’ve had it for a few weeks. But we’ve been perfectly happy with hair dryers in the past that have come in at under £50, so it’s not a necessity by any means. It would make the perfect gift for a hair-obsessed loved one, though.
