Great monitor. 144hz feels so great. Colors are ok. Adjustable stand is very nice. Got the first one with a dead pixel after 1 week, got it replaced within couple days. Still happy after 8 months.

Every performance-oriented gaming rig needs a speedy display to keep up with cutting-edge GPUs. Asus delivers up to 144 Hz with its VG248QE 24-inch TN-based monitor. Is its display performance as impressive as the company's sub-$300 price tag?
The Asus VG248QE is a 24-inch gaming monitor featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, a speedy pixel response, and a highly adjustable stand. It's a good performer but could use a few more gamer-centric features.
Fast pixel response; 144Hz refresh rate; Ergonomic stand
Narrow viewing angles; 3D gear not included; No USB ports
amazing monitor for the price. i was going to purchase a benQ until i saw this. bought my gf a asus laptop so i assumed it would be a quality product and it was. stand is amazing and 144hz is smooth as butter.
I've had the monitor for a little over a month now and have absolutely no qualms with it, other than needing to calibrate the colors/brightness. Wh?en you turn the monitor on for the first time, you may or may not notice the colors to be "washed out" and the screen blindingly bright.
If you're at 60hz, the difference will be night and day. Changing the picture is relatively easy, though a little clunky. The picture itself is beautiful. Assembly was super easy. My only complaint is that the cable it comes with (DVI-D) is only 3 feet long.
Good monitor missing hdmi cable so as display port cable
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, who loves gaming. Definitely his favorite gift this year! Couldn't find it anywhere online for this price (others listed it at the price but didn't have in stock and didn't know if/when it might be available), so I was happy to find it here.
I have been looking at computer monitors since they were 15 inch boxes with a monochrome screen. This one is by far the best one I have looked at. No dead pixels no noticeable back light bleed. It is sturdy and has a lot of real estate on the screen.
Works well, does what I need it to do. Only thing is the viewing angles aren't the greatest as you'd expect with a TN panel. Also the colors need to be calibrated when you hook it up, they look washed out and to bright in my opinion. Other than that its a great display highly recommend it.
