Honestly if you are going to be heavy gaming and you dont already own a 144hz monitor, I HIGHLY recommend this one. For starters, I used to use a 60hz monitor. Once I plugged this one in I IMMEDIATELY noticed a HUGE difference. If you do not have a monitor already, well what are you waiting for

The Asus VG248QE is a 24-inch gaming monitor featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, a speedy pixel response, and a highly adjustable stand. It's a good performer but could use a few more gamer-centric features.

After 2 years of excellence my VG248QE developed some image persistence. I started an RMA, and Asus said they had no replacement units. After awhile they said they had them in stock, but gave me NO option of a advance RMA. They initially said I had to pay for shipping as well.

I initially bought this monitor as a cheap 144 hz monitor. Despite the price, the monitor is still amazing. There is a clear night and day difference between 144 hz and 60 hz, and it is impossible to return to 60 hz once you have become used to 144 hz.

After you try 144 Hz; you will never look back. It is incredible; I could not believe the difference on my eyes, brain and gaming! This is a great monitor and you get about the same features from the more expensive BenQ monitors at a better price. I am saving for the second one.

Miles apart. Love that this monitor was 24" 144Hz. Easy to work with, can use Display port. Was purchased from Amazon, Flawless screen and easily a great purchase for 1080P Gaming.

Pros: - 144 Hz is insanely good compared to 60Hz, honestly if you're a gamer, make sure you have 144hz (also dont forget to set it to 144hz, e.g. go to nvidia control panel -> screen res -> set to 144hz (Don't be like Greekgodx playing on 60hz without realising it for over a year haha).
