Although it is a bit expensive, it works great with i7-12700K. Originally it will overclock i7-12700K to 5 or 5.1GHz(all cores) unless you want it higher. I don't make any change to the default setting because the maximum power for the CPU package is more than 210W, and the highest temperature for the CPU is around 90 degrees( With 280mm AIO). I will suggest you to use the default setting unless you have a better cooling system.

I have been running this motherboard in a new i9 12900K build for about a month and have no complaints. First boot went without a hitch, the Asus software is excellent and installed all required drivers, Wifi and bluetooth have outstanding range, everything is running cool, and it just works. I have not measured any performance metrics so cannot give that info, but as an experienced computer user I am very happy with this motherboard so far.

After a lot of research, I finally landed on this board. Tidy versatile aesthetic, seems to match really well with my White and Chrome look. Best option in early 2022 to hit the ddr4 Ram. Would almost double the cost of the entire build going for that version. Was a little disappointed the IO panel wasn't installed on the Mobo IO but that's just what your get on a lower mid range, new architecture. The better lot of features was quite a step up in price from this board. 1x gen4 M.2 + 2x 3gen ain't bad! and the Asus strix M.2 pcie expansion is able to run on gen4 speeds. Awesome mb , just perfect

The Board is great and strikes a good balance between price and performance. Plenty of capacity on the board for all of your components. My experience with the board has generally been great just a heads up my board had an obscure RAID issue which meant i couldn't detect my boot drive.(fresh install)Fixed it in the BIOS thanks to a thread in Asus forums. Needed to provide the essentials for the Windows 11 platform and for video editing and fast rendering. It is extremely fast along with the other components I purchased for this build. eg old computer 1hr 36mins for render on this new board it took 6 mins 30 secs to fender same video. Impressive and very happy
