Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

If you've been holding out for a phablet-size iPhone, the $300 iPhone 6 Plus is for you. The handset's 5.5-inch full HD display and zippy A8 processor make it the best iPhone yet for entertainment, and its long battery life ensures that you'll be able to enjoy apps, movies and games for hours on...

Bright, full HD display; Sleek metal design; Fast performance; Long battery life

Weak audio output; Pricey for 16GB

I'll make the most obvious statement about the Apple iPhone 6 Plus first: It's huge. If your whole goal for using a smartphone camera is because it's smaller than a typical digital camera, the 6 Plus and its 5.5-inch display screen may not work for you.

Disappointing to find an 8-megapixel main camera in 6 Plus when 6s Plus has 12-megapixels; 6s Plus offers 5MP in secondary/front-facing camera versus 1.2MP in 6 Plus secondary camera; Low light image quality could be a little better; Smartphone body is very large compared to other units; Can be a...

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

In the end, the only trump card the iPhone 6 Plus has over its little brother is its (vastly) superior battery life. Any other nominal advantages - like the optical image stabilization of its main camera and the slightly adjusted, iPad-like software changes - aren't enough to justify buying a device...

Excellent battery life; Elegant design; High-quality display; Fast and reliable performance; Top-notch camera

Effectively requires two hands to use; Too little storage on default model; no microSD support; Non-removable battery; Lackluster front-facing camera

Apple iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are bigger and better than ever, but are they a worthy upgrade for existing iPhone users? What if you previously passed over the iPhone because of its small screen, does it now merit a second look?

Sleek design; excellent screen; continuous autofocus; NFC/Apple Pay; fast CPU; comfortable to use with one hand; Sleek design; excellent screen; continuous autofocus; NFC/Apple Pay; fast CPU; spacious HD screen; OIS for better low light photos; excellent battery life

Only 1 GB of RAM; smooth/slippery surface makes it easy to drop; expensive; merely catches up to the pack; no OIS; Only 1 GB of RAM; smooth/slippery surface makes it easy to drop; expensive; merely catches up to the pack; need two hands to tame this beast; onscreen graphics slower than iPhone 5s

In-depth review: Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8

Apple's first foray into the phablet business is largely successful, but we do have a few quibbles with the UI. We were hoping Apple could do something innovative with the extra screen real estate, something beyond Reachability.

Gorgeous 1080p display; A8 chip and efficient communications package boosts battery life; Optical image stabilization for iSight camera

Large form factor limits pocketability; Apple could have done more with the extra screen real estate; Gorgeous 1080p display; A8 chip and efficient communications package boosts battery life; Optical image stabilization for iSight camera

Apple iPhone 6 Plus: GORGEOUS FAT pixel density - but it's WASTED

If you've been waiting for an Apple phone the size of a Samsung phone, this is it; and even if you've never seen the point, the bigger screen has an undeniable attraction in the flesh. Just be sure to try before you buy, because compared to any other iPhone it's a very different machine to own.

Apple has long held out against the trend of increasing screen sizes in smartphones, obstinately sticking to the belief that small is beautiful. The overwhelming tide of public opinion however has finally seen the iPhone maker give in - and in a big way.

iPhone 6 Plus Gray Hands On – WOAH IT'S BIG!

The iPhone 6 has been with me since it was released 10 days ago and as I've already covered in my hands on, the 4.7 inch screen size is perfect for one handed usability. However, ...

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

So yes, the iPhone 6 Plus is legitimately a phablet. That's why there's a lot of noise regarding this year's release since Apple has resisted even going the way of major flagship device in the range of 4.7 to 5.0 inches, then suddenly they made a sizable shift to 5.5.

* Large full HD display; * Good performance; * Impressive camera performance; * Option for 128GB internal storage; * Touch ID and Fingerprint sensor

* Very expensive retail price; * Crippled NFC capability; * A bit unweildy to hold

Apple is ready to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with its large phone the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. This time Apple did not just deliver one large smartphone but two. Apple iPhone 6 Plus with 5.5 inch display and the Apple iPhone 6 with the 4.7 inch display.
