Apple iPhone 5 Review: Bigger and Better

The latest smartphone from Apple brings a larger display, faster processor, and quicker wireless access. How does it stack up in the real world

Faster Processor; Thinner and lighter; Beautiful Retina Display; Well Designed; 725,000 Apps Available; LTE (FINALLY!!!

New Lightning Adapter; Larger screen makes minimal impact; Lots of room for improvement for iOS 6

Apple iPhone 5s (Verizon)

One of the features that's been lacking when it comes to teen phones (which arguably should be one of the most important) is security. Teens tend to lose things and since smartphones now contain a large part of someone's life, ensuring a mobile device can be properly locked down is very important.

iPhone 5 expert review

In this Agent's humble opinion, the iPhone 5 is by far the best iPhone yet. Although there are no major new features, every single aspect of the handset has been improved over the 4S. The new design looks and feels great and the larger screen really makes a difference.

Apple iPhone 5 Written Review by Taylor

At the end of the day, the iPhone 5 is exactly what you would expect from Apple. It's just enough to keep existing iPhone users happy for another year and to bring in new users who are either brand new to smartphones or dissatisfied with their existing phone.

Gorgeous, high contrast display; LTE connectivity; high quality design and feel; fantastic camera; reasonable price for lower capacity models; great ecosystem

Largest model is $399 with a contract; back plate and antenna are very susceptible to scratches and chipping; Maps app is under scrutiny; only taller, the display still may seem small for some individuals

iPhone 5S

As we've come to expect from Apple's S-range, the iPhone 5S represents a subtle enhancement of the previous model. However, it's considerably more powerful than the iPhone 5, Touch ID is a genuinely worthwhile addition, and that compact design remains one of the best around.

iPhone 5 Review

Apple's iPhone 5 has a lot to live up to. Its predecessor set sales records; its original ancestor changed the smartphone industry immeasurably. In the five years since the first iPhone, Apple's smartphones have taken the company's value sky-high, and made it a star performer in an otherwise...

I love this phone. It does everything I want and almost nothing I don't want. The only slight gripe is the fact that not all settings are accessible without Jailbreaking (which I don't want to risk).
