Apple iPhone 13 5G (128GB, Green) - Excellent review

Unlucky number? Doesn't matter! The 13th generation of one of the mainstays among smartphones is now once again trying to appease Apple fans and convert Android disciples. To accomplish this, it features a new processor, longer battery life and sensor shift image stabilization.

very bright OLED display..., ...with excellent color accuracy, sharp pictures with good contrast, one of the fastest smartphones, good battery life, wide variety of accessories available, good signal strength, fast Wi-Fi

display limited to 60 Hz, mediocre sound at maximum volume, no macro lens, case noticeably warm under load, wide notch

iPhone 13 review

The iPhone 13 isn’t a game changer for Apple’s series of smartphones, but it’s an important iteration that offers better battery life, a better processor and an upgraded camera setup than iPhones that have gone before it. If you’re looking for a fast and capable smartphone, and don’t need the extra features of the pricier Pro model, this is a top choice.

Strong battery life; Great design; Powerful internals;

Minimal design changes; No 120Hz screen; No Ceramic Shield on rear

iPhone 13 review: Familiarity is part of the phone's charm

The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini received a number of significant upgrades including new cameras, a bigger battery, more storage and a brighter screen. The iPhone 13 is a delightful upgrade to last year's already wonderful iPhone 12 family. Some will be disappointed because it's not radically different from previous models, but that's actually part of the charm. Familiarity has been one of the keys to Apple's success with the iPhone, and the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are those same reliable friends that seemingly never change.

Apple delivers a delightful upgrade in its new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini.

New cameras; Cinematic mode; iOS 15;

Still wish the notch was smaller;

Apple iPhone 13 Review

Apple's iPhone 13 (starting at $799) is a battery life beast, with far greater longevity than previous midrange smartphones. While we appreciate the greater pocketability of the iPhone 13 mini, unimpressive sales of the iPhone 12 mini taught us that most people prefer long battery life to a petite form factor. So even though other upgrades from the previous generation are nearly unnoticeable here, the battery boost is so profound that it's definitely worth the $100 premium over a standard-size iPhone 12. And if you're upgrading from an earlier iPhone, you'll find a lot of welcome enhancements in power and camera quality. That makes the iPhone 13 the best bet for most buyers, as well as the winner of our Editors' Choice award.Design: Subtle Improvements The iPhone 13 looks a lot like the iPhone 12. At 5.8 by 2.8 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and 6.1 ounces, it's pretty much the exact same size as the iPhone 12, but a third of an ounce heavier. Because of slightly different side button positi...

iPhone 13 review

A 60Hz display is the only thing really stopping the iPhone 13 from being the most competitive phone on the market. It improves on its predecessor and otherwise outperforms rivals deftly.

Best-in-class performance; Beautiful design & finish; Impressive battery life; Capable cameras;

Smaller notch doesn't add much; No telephoto camera; 60Hz display is dated; Slow charging;
