Apple is slowly transforming its iPad into a 2-in-1, and while this new tablet may not be a laptop replacement, it's more than simply an iPad Air 3. It's best used with pro-level accessories like the Smart Keyboard and Pencil, but it gets even more expensive.

Apple is targeting the iPad Pro device category at people that it wants to rescue from the trauma of using PCs. With the iPad Pro 9.7in, it achieves this in some respects, but not all.

Apple thinks it's created the 'ultimate PC replacement' and while we're not convinced, the new iPad Pro 9.7 is still one of the best tablets you can buy.

When Apple announced that it planned to release a smaller version of its iPad Pro our curiosity was piqued. Despite having a smaller battery and a smaller screen the same A9X chip that the 12.7inch Pro boasted would a make a return.

This was a purchase to replace an iPad 2 that I have had for several years. I am so pleased I made the transition. It was very easy to transfer all my existing apps and music across and took less than half an hour to be fully working again (after a sync).

Love the iPad Pro, but still needs a usb built internally. Great battery life and great sound. Must have the Apple Pencil. I wish Adorama would go ahead and ship mine! ;).

I bought this as I wanted the iPad Pro with cellular. In the description it says it had cellular. It has WiFi but not cellular so I returned it. Walmart needs to change their description to WiFi only as this model does not have cellular. The IPad looked good just not what I wanted.
