Review Apple iPad 4 Tablet

Apple has only made minor changes on the outside of the iPad 4 . The device uses the new Lightning interface . This interface is far more compact and easier to use than the 30 pin dock interface previously used by Apple.

Exemplary workmanship and choice of material; Fast WLAN module; High CPU and GPU performance; Good display with stable viewing angles; Very long battery life; Extensive list of optional accessories; The good performance and the front camera; which now offers better image quality for video chats

Not very slim and light for a high-end tablet, Buyer will need to pay extra for LTE and 3G modules, Meager connectivity, Increasing the storage space is not possible, A slimmer and lighter case; In addition, the screen should be brighter

Apple iPad 4

The forth generation iPad has a 9.7-inch 2048x1536 pixels Retina display, 5-megapixel iSight camera on the back, front-facing camera for video calls, A6X chip coupled with quad-core graphics, and 16, 32 or 64 GB of built-in storage.

Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast; 32GB microSD card included; Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape

Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen; No 4G LTE power toggle option; Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

Best tab there is

I simply love this tab, very fast and smooth. Game play was awesome, and the screen took it to another level. Zero lag, apps loaded fast, movies looked great, colours were accurate.

Awesome Screen; Performance; THE BEST!; Camera 5 mp but GREAT; Apps; battery; design

A bit heavy; A bit Slippery

Apple iPad 4 Review: In Depth

The fourth generation iPad feels more of a refinement. If you invested in the third-generation tablet don't feel too hard done by. 4G is still at early adopter level in the UK and will be until there are more compatible phones and greater network choice.

Fantastic build; Improved camera; Amazing screen; 4G welcome addition

iOS still not as flexible as other OS's; 4G doesn't support multiple bands; Minor upgrade

iPad with Retina Display Review

Unless you simply must always have the latest and greatest, iPad 3 owners don't need to upgrade yet-this new iPad is basically an iPad 3S. But iPad 2 owners will love this...unless they fall for the iPad mini first.

Faster than iPad 3; Better graphics performance.

No further improvements to the camera or other design tweaks just yet

Breaking its very own sacred routine of releasing a new iPad model every year, Apple undeniably took everyone by surprise as they not only announced one new iPad, but two at its most recent San Francisco event.

Premium construction; Impressively detailed and accurate Retina Display; High caliber performance; Above average battery life

Not much of a serious upgrade to the iPad 3

Apple iPad 4 review: Marching on

Three Apple tablets in a single year. This is more than anyone asked for and yet, by some weird logic - or lack thereof, not too many for Apple to successfully sell. All fine and dandy, unless you got the iPad 3 - better luck next time if you were unfortunate enough to buy it in September.

9.7" LED-backlit IPS LCD touchscreen, 2048 x 1536 pixels; scratch-resistant, oleophobic coating, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, carrier-dependent hotspot support, Optional LTE connectivity (data only, Optional GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support (for the 3G model only, Apple A6X SoC with 1 GHz...

iTunes still required for uploading most of the content; Reflective screen struggles outdoors; No standard USB port; No stereo speakers; No GPS receiver in the Wi-Fi version; No memory card slot; Lack of basic iOS apps - stocks; clock; calculator; voice memos; Apple A6X chipset with PowerVR554MP4...

Apple iPad (4th Generation, Wi-Fi)

Now in its fourth iteration in two years, the Apple iPad continues its reign as king. The best large tablet you can buy today, the Apple iPad (4th Generation) has it all: top performance, a stellar screen, a surprisingly good camera, speedy Wi-Fi, and a breathtaking library of spectacular apps.

Incredibly fast; Gorgeous screen; Unbeatable app selection

New Lightning connector means some old accessories won't work here
