With so many tablets PC's coming out each year, it is much more difficult to choose a tablet PC that suits you nowadays. In my case, I chose the Apple iPad (4th generation), and I've never been so satisfied with a purchase before.
I got Apple I pad 4 with Retina Display from JB hi-fi for this Christmas , Its really good with high graphics quality, high pixel of camera and thousands of App can be download. Its wonderful. Thanks...cheers
The fourth generation iPad feels more of a refinement. If you invested in the third-generation tablet don't feel too hard done by. 4G is still at early adopter level in the UK and will be until there are more compatible phones and greater network choice.
Fantastic build; Improved camera; Amazing screen; 4G welcome addition
iOS still not as flexible as other OS's; 4G doesn't support multiple bands; Minor upgrade
We do feel there should be a touch more "awesome" at this price, but once you've gazed adoringly into the Retina Display, you'll struggle to not hate any tablet that isn't this good.
The iPad 4 is definitely the best full-size iPad yet, but if you have a third-gen model, you may feel that six months is too soon to upgrade. Perhaps Apple thought the same, so it delivered a gentle rather than a killer upgrade, though the speed improvement over the last model is evident.
Faster processor; Improved FaceTime camera; UK-compatible 4G connectivity
Reduced battery life; Not much change from iPad 3; Too soon
With retina screen watching tv and movies is now more of a pleasure than ever before but is it worth the upgrade.
- Great Battery Life; - Retina Display; - Powerful
- New charger port; - Expensive; - Not too different to iPad 3
Engadget - Tim Stevens : "Twice as fast, better battery life, same cost. What more do we need to say? The new iPad is a hit on all fronts -- but it of course won't be received that way by all.
We were all taken aback when Apple released this fourth-generation iPad, not least because it came out at the same time as the iPad Mini , and only six months after the third-gen device had been released. Enter some angry Apple fans who had just paid out for a device that was already out of date.
Great Retina display; Amazingly good battery life; Nice range of apps; 4G support; improved FaceTime camera
Not terribly portable; Lacks memory card slot
Verdict Taken on its own, the fourth generation iPad is a triumph of engineering and design: it feels like a true laptop replacement for many, even if it offers only a minimal update over the third generation model that only serious spec heads would notice.
