I debated between an iPad mini 4 w/cellular but that debate was settled when the new iPad 2017 was released. I have an original iPad mini w/o cellular which I love so it was a no brainer to go with another iPad, but wanted to be able to use it when traveling. This iPad is perfect for me.

Great value iPad. Only issue was being able to purchase case for it as it is a new model.

Does what it's meant to; was a gift for mum and she loves it

The iPad tablet is not a replacement for any other device you own. It is designed for media consumption, and on that front, it delivers brilliantly.

Very few ports; Attracts lots of fingerprints; No Flash support

The big deal for me is that it is almost unheard of for me to gush over a gadget. I didn't do so with iPhone… Heck, I've gone back and forth several times liking it and not liking it. But that said, I have kept coming back to it because of the apps and ease of use.

Bought to replace an ageing iPad 2. Chose not to have 3G/4G this time and to share data with my iPhone instead. Seems to be mage of cheaper things than my first two iPads, however with IOS 11 and new features still great to use and to simply login and backup from iCloud...

Bought this iPad for my wife,who uses it for everything ,family photos,banking,music, letters,emails checking eBay!! Lovely bit of equipment with excellent battery life and faultless graphics

Like any 1.0 product, the iPad has its rough edges, the worst being the erratic Wi-Fi reception. However, the basic design is spot on. It's small enough to be portable and comfortable to use, yet large enough to work really well for tasks such as web browsing, reading books and playing video.

No camera due to it being an early model, but its ok at a good price.

The new iPad represented Apple's largest tablet launch yet, and according to their sales figures, three million units were moved over the opening weekend. That's nearly $2 billion in tablets...in three days. Hotcakes are selling like iPads these days.
