This is a great scanner for the money, I use it to scan membership cards and forms that my users print, so I can get some pretty bad prints off of their inkjet printers. This scanner has had no problems with any of it.
The scanner works very well and has scanned everything that I have thrown at it including various low quality prints on colored backgrounds; It is quite durable and has shown no signs of even thinking about failing
