Best wireless ANC headphones for sound quality

I have owned this pair of cans for roughly 2 months now, and in comparison to the Sony XM3, Sennheiser PXC 550, Beats studio 3 and Jabra Elite, while albeit the YH-E700’s are undoubtedly larger and heavier, their sound signature is uncompromisingly beautiful across all stages, the the bass is present, strong and you can even feel it’s vibrations which do not drown out the mids, highs or lows. Everything is crisp, clear, and very, very close to perfect.

Amazing sound, great bass, comfortable, great batt

Ever since I saw these on Yamaha's website, I wanted to buy them. At the time of writing this review, they are hard to be found online; however, somehow I managed to purchase them. Let me tell you, this is one heck of a pair of headphones. Comfort: look big but are super comfortable. I can have them on for hours in one stretch. The padding on the band, however, could have been thicker. Sound: If you are someone looking for deep bass, you won't be disappointed. The bass, however, doesn't interfere with the mids and highs which sound balanced and natural. Highs are not too harsh and vocals sound amazing. Overall, amazing sound at this price point; definitely a value for money pair of cans. The Listening care and the Listening optimizer features are by default 'on' and I believe they do play an important part in maintaining the overall sound signature. Battery life: Advertised battery life is 35 hours, and I have no reason to doubt it. Accessories: they come with a high quali

Bass chambers.

Ok, first off, the bass is strong in this one. You can almost feel it. The second good news is that all the other frequencies are really nice too. Instrument separation, 3d imaging and soundstage is excellent. These are like a concert / club / festival / cinema on your head, the sound is that powerful. I love how these look also, but on the head they look a bit big. Noise cancelling is below the Sony or Bose offerings, I would probably not get these if NC is a high priority. The NC mostly reduces the low end rumble of your surroundings. Finally, the reason why I'm only giving these 4 stars is because they use pleather. Pleather is awful, if you happen to fall in love with these (like I have), the pleather will one day deteriorate and you will be depending on Yamaha or a third party selling the earpads/headband, this will be a hassle and an extra cost. At this price point we need to be using leather.

Potentially great headphones held back by bad app

To get right to the point, these headphones sound good, they are quite warm, and have a deep bass reach, although it can come across as a little muddy, especially when playing against more nuanced mids and highs. The app for this set of cans has no EQ at all, nor can you disable the voice/announcer, which I don't like a whole lot, if you are looking to get these, I suggest waiting a little to see if there is EQ support added, and more than 3 useless settings in the app

Exceptional Audio Quality - ANC Average

If you're looking for a pair of headphones that are comfortable enough to wear all day, and you just want headphones that sound great, then give these a go. Pros: Battery life - 10/10 its as good as they claim i charge these once per week at work Audio Quality : 9/10 Great bassresponse without getting muddy or boomy, a nice natural spread right into the limits of my hearing, the listening care really helps to make it enjoyable to listen to for extended periods. Case: 9/10 great hardshell case with a durable zipper The Okay: Build Quality: 7/10 the hinges and construction of the actual heaphones is great, however cheaper materials on the headband cushion and p/leather earmuffs let down what could have been a not only beautiful but long lasing pair of heaphones The Bad: Noise Cancelling - this is no where near class leading, and for the price point i know Yamaha added it just to say it has it, but passive noise canelling does almost as much as the Active, and when enabled
