The Mi Band 2 is excellent at tracking steps and sleep, at a very affordable price.
Bright screen; Lightweight and comfortable; Heart rate monitor; Android and iOS support; Long battery life
No feedback or encouragement; Import only; Proprietary charger
Overall good for the price and I read that it's more accurate than the Fitbit which costs more than double the price.
-great battery life; works pretty good
-the pedometer accuracy seems a little bit off as it seems to detect a few steps while I'm driving
The Mi Band 2 is the latest wearable fitness tracker from Chinese hardware giant Xiaomi. It follows the cheap but feature-rich Mi Band and Mi Band 1S and introduces a screen for the first time in the range, as well as improved pedometer tech, which Xiaomi claims is kinder to the battery.
Attractive waterproof design; Great OLED display; Battery life
Charging cable easily lost; Weak third-party app support; Lacks guidance and advice
The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is the best cheap fitness tracker we've seen. Read our Mi Band 2 review to find out what's new in this excellent-value budget activity tracker.
This has to be one of the cheapest yet most functional trackers I have used. I used this as I didn't want to take my watch while doing tough mudder. It has smart phone notifications, activity tracking, pedometer and also a heart rate monitor.
The step counter isn't perfect, you will reach 10,000 steps before the counter says you did. However for the price it works wonderfully, and I charge it once a month! Works wonderfully with the app on IOS and Android!
Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 is one of those gadgets that simply represents great value. It's not the fanciest fitness tracker on the market, or the fullest featured, but at around AUD$60, it's one of the most affordable.
Amazing battery life; Excellent value; Comfortable to wear
Limited motivational tools; Accuracy can be a little hit and miss; No workout tracking
Xiaomi recently launched the most expected Mi Band 2 in India. It is the company's third-generation fitness and sleep tracker after the most popular Mi Band and the upgraded Mi Band Pulse with a heart rate sensor. It is the first Mi Band with an OLED display. Priced at Rs.
Affordable; Water resistant (IP67; Heart rate sensor; OLED display shows time; remaining battery and more; Good battery life
OLED display is not visible clearly in bright outdoors
While last year's Xiaomi Mi Band got the price (Rs. 999 at launch) spot on, there were a few compromises that we weren't too happy with, most importantly the lack of a display. A year on, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Band 2 in an attempt to fix those flaws by adding a display and a heart rate sensor.
Heart rate sensor digs into skin; Proprietary charger; App sign-up process needs improvement
