Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is a triumphant return for a JRPG classic. It doesn't change enough to attract previous doubters, yet enhances the foundations in a number of tremendous ways. It's never looked, sounded or played as good before, meaning it's the perfect time for eager newcomers and familiar adventurers to jump in.

This game is amazing. The combat is so good once you come to understand it. The story is amazing and keeps you engaged the whole way though. The concept of exploring differwnt regions of 2 dead titans is also a very cool idea. The characters are also ver likable. If you haven't played this game, you are doing a disservice to yourself.

one of the best jrpg games ever. a must have for any fan of the genre or video game fan in general. with over 100 hours of great gameplay this is a purchse you will not regret. dont miss out on this definitive edition. amazing game for nintendo switch 5/5 stars

I bought this game a few weeks after release, and while the new Story content was disappointingly short, the implications of it were interesting. Along with that, the overall game is an incredible, faithfully recreated modern version of the original, with actually useful UI as well.

I have the original game on Wii U and they have vastly improved the game to look amazing with better graphics. The gameplay and story is unchanged but it appears to run faster than the original version. If you have not played the game. Definitely pick it up from JB Hi-Fi. Their price is the best.

If you enjoyed playing Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, you will really appreciate the updated visuals as well as the quality of life improvements which make the game much more enjoyable and seamless. The story is really immersive with lots of different landscapes to explore and monsters to fight. Each character is fleshed out with nice moments created by Heart to Hearts. My playthrough was about 90 hours, which included pretty much all side quests, but I'd played this game on the Wii before so knew a fair bit about it, it could take longer if you are brand new to it. The Future Connected add on, is a nice tribute to Melia to help continue her story. It's about a 15-20 hour story if you do the side quests, while I found it not as good as the main game, I really liked to see some of the characters again.
