Great item for the price. Good to see Westinghouse is now doing small appliances. Have had a lot of their fridges and ovens in the past. Now i can trust them for my other kitchen appliances. Great.

I can't comment on the taste of the waterbut I will say I have this kettle for about 8 years and all i do is empty my hot water bottle back into it and boil it again. I've boiled it dry more than once but after reading how many things can go wrong with kettles, I have to say, it just keeps going. I fill my hot water bottles and I don't get burned by steam, it has never leaked, easy to use all around. I know manufacturing practice can change a lot and this one is prob 10 years old as it was quite second hand when i got it but what a beast.
