I m not very a techy person. At tried running it in my PC desktop and it could not read it at first but when I ask my nephew to help me, he ran it with a mac computer and he was able to format it. Now it is running perfectly without problems.

For the few weeks it worked the drive was very fast but then it started to develop millions of bad sectors. It seems some other reviewers had the same problem. Given that the drive has a five year warranty this is disappointing.

Great speed. Great price. Was worried about shipping damage but it seems to pass every test no problem. Will buy again.

You know what they say, you get what you pay for. This drive is a very quite drive, if you have no sound proof in your system case this will be a good drive. Even though it's mechanical it's a quite drive, worth the cost.

I bought 2 WD 6TB to use as Raid 0. I only have it since two weeks. I am happy with the performance, Black Magic HD speed testing showed an average of 218 Mb/s each one and 430 Mb/s in Raid 0 . It is very good for video editing.
