We're using our Western Digital 3TB Elements Portable External Hard Drive for the expanded storage that Microsoft swore we'd never need. It seems to be working well for the couple months we've been using it. 3TB is hopefully all we'll ever need.

Smaller then expected which was great as didn't have many places to store it. Perfect lovely design would defo get another if needed.

I've been using this hard drive for over a year now.. it's been amazing.. works super fast supports usb 3.0.. I've had no issues whatsoever with it. For the price point I bought it, it was much worth it. Obviously the next step up from this external hdd would be to get an SSD.

Upgraded from a 500GB WD hard drive, which has never failed me so I went with WD again. This is a very solid, well-built and compact hard drive; no loose parts can be heard when shaken. Has a discrete matte black finish with 4 small rubber pads on the bottom for support and protection.
