You get what you pay for. It's not as fast as an M.2 PCIe drive, but still works great for holding my older games that don't need on the spot responce times.

After acquiring 40 of these and using them in our business environment, we have not had a single failure. Reduced heat in laptops also helps. Can definitely see a performance boost.
I have a Mid-2013 MacBook Pro that was running very slow every time. I decided to upgrade the ram to 16GB ( It was 4GB) and I replaced the hard drive with this one. It was super easy to do (a couple of Youtube videos) and it also saved me a lot of money without the need of buying a new computer.
