I bought this to extend my PS4 hard drive and have not had a problem with it. It was extremely easy to set up. The games run exactly the same as they do off the internal hard drive. Absolutely no difference. All the games appear on the PS4 home screen regardless of whether they are stored internally or externally. Be aware the PS4 only has 2 USB ports on the front, (unlike the PS4 Pro that has 2 on the front and 1 on the back) so if you do not have a PS4 Pro, an external hard drive such as the WD Black will only leave you with 1 USB port for controllers. Overall, very happy with this product. Its all the storage I will ever need!

I bought the hard drive about 6 months ago. Constantly using it purely as a game drive every day on my PC since purchase. This definitely does what I paid for with decent speeds. The only issue im having with it right now is its constantly sitting around 50-60c on idle (on a 25 degree day) and when im gaming which is way too hot in my opinion. I was thinking about returning the product because its either faulty or slowly failing. It makes loud clicking/grinding noises when I am in a hardware heavy game (such as virtual reality or something like GTA V). I wouldn't recommend this product if you are going to be constantly using it as you'll start running into issues like me. I feel like this drive is going to fail on me in the next 6 months.

Brought the WD_Black p10 last month and can honestly say its a great game drive for any gamers looking for extra space to store their games, it has plenty of storage space even for large memory games, good upload speeds and runs games smoothly with no lag.

Bought this for my son's PS5 so he can store his PS4 games on it and keep the internal SSD free for PS5 games. Easy to use, plug'n'play, does the job straight away. A little on the noisy side is only reason for 1 star off. Delivery from JB was super quick and efficient, too.
