Cintiq 16

I am a first time user of the Cintiq, and it is just great! I have tried to use an Intuos before and never could get the hang of it. With the Cintiq I am able to use it as easily as using paper and pencil. It is a great unit.

The 16" basic model is really all you need if you're a professional digital illustrator or even entry level hobbyist. THE GOOD: Firstly we can all agree the price is the best thing about this. For the first time Wacom made an entry level product to an otherwise premium line of drawing tablets.

Great Cintiq for lower budget

Wacom Cintiqs are the top of the line. Love this cintiq, the texture on the drawing surface is matte finish so the pen grips perfectly. No shine / reflection or sweaty hand prints on the cintiq either. Only downside is that it didn't come with a stand to hold it upright.

Wacom 16" Cintiq Pen Display DTK-1660/K1-CX review

REVIEW – Within just a few weeks, I’ve graduated from my old Intuos 3 drawing tablet to the new Intuos Pro tablet and now to this: the Wacom Cintiq 16 display tablet. Reviewing the Cintiq 16 has left me with two differing opinions.

Build quality; Pro Pen 2 included; Screen quality is good despite that it’s not Wacom’s best; Sensible cable management

Wacom 16" Cintiq Pen Display DTK-1660/K1-CX review

These days pen computing is pretty popular. All except one of the big computing platforms; Windows, Chrome OS, Android, iOS, Linux; have added stylus pen interface support and have attempted to do some catering towards the creative professional.

Wacom Cintiq 16 Review

The $649.95 Cintiq 16, which Wacom refers to as a "creative pen display," lets an artist draw, navigate menus, and click buttons on its 15.6-inch screen using the included Wacom Pro Pen 2 stylus. It's an interactive monitor, attaching to a computer rather than running its own resident programs as would a tablet. The Cintiq 16 lacks some screen features and connectivity choices found on the Cintiq Pro 16—not to mention its gesture-based touch control—but it comes in at a price that's far more suitable for art students, amateur designers, and professionals on tight budgets. Sweet Cintiq 16: Where It Fits In In Wacom's lineup, the Cintiq 16 and other Cintiq displays lie between the company's Wacom Intuos tablets—with which the artist draws with a stylus on a pad or surface and sees the results on a computer's monitor—and the Cintiq Pro line. The Cintiq Pro 16 ($1,499.95) has full multi-touch capabilities for gesture-based finger control, a higher resolution, more connection choices,...

The Wacom Cintiq 16 is an interactive pen monitor that lets artists draw and perform actions onscreen. It's moderately priced, and is a good choice for art students and pros on tight budgets.

Acts as a second monitor that lets you draw and edit onscreen; Generous 15.6-inch panel; Comfortable, easy-to-use stylus doesn't require charging

No multi-touch (finger) support; Needs to connect to two computer ports; Low resolution and limited color gamut for a device geared to artists; Gangly, hydra-headed adapter cable

Great tablet, Better Pen

After purchasing multiple off brand tablets I found they all had a serious amount of problems running with windows 10, the wacom tablet is known for unfixable issues but alas this is only a minor problem because once you get used to it, it really does the job unlike the competition. The pen in this product is the start of the show, it feels realistic.

Beautiful seamless drawing experience

I love my Cintique, its made life alot easier for many things that I do. As an online art instructor I have to critique my students work and this tablet makes it so much easier to do. I have my screen being recorded with a software program and its working with my other programs really well. I love the texture and feel of it.
