We were looking for an easier to use baby monitor and we found it with this great little unit. Having the app on your mobile phone makes it super easy to access from our phones instead of having to carry around a separate unit. Remote access also allows parents who are away to sit in on story time. Deducting one star purely because the unit has to be plugged in (would be wonderful if you could charge it and move it around easier). I would also like to be able to manage the volume level of the lullaby (have yet to find a solution to this).

The camera is fine, but we had to put black tape around the light bar on the bottom. Whoever designed this does not have kids. A baby is not going to sleep with a bright green band terminating green light while they try and sleep. There is no option at present (November 2021) to turn the light bar off either.

Pretty happy with it, does the job. Picture very clear both lights on and at night. Mic is clear, picks up noises well. Iphone app works well and runs on IPAD also. The only drawback I would say of using this webcam style baby monitor is you can only hear audio and video stream in real time when the app is running on the device. Ie if you go to another app, you wont be able to hear baby noises/screaming. (although you will get banner notification) of audio/movement detected. So be be safe, you really need to have a smartphone/ Tablet dedicated to running the app. Can have multiple devices connected though which is great.

This camera has everything I was looking for. The biggest want was that I could see the image on my phone. We had a baby camera that had its own monitor and it was such a pain having to have it near you, especially when it would run out of battery quickly. We've always got our phones on us and we can sign in with multiple phones. We can also sign in from anywhere and view the room. It is easy to pan and tilt the camera remotely to find the right angle and you can even zoom in. It is a very clear colour image during the day and very clear night vision when the room is dark. The camera also lets you play lullabies and speak to your child remotely (although this scared our kid so we haven't used this feature much). I'm really impressed with this product and the price. Our massively expensive camera lasted a year before going grainy and pixellated beyond being useful. This one has a much clearer image to begin with so I'm interested to see how long it lasts. It was very easy to set

Overall I'm happy with the quality. The only problem is the movement notification. The app doesn't send movement notification right-away, it's lagging, by a lot. because of that we can't rely on the notification and we have it on our phone watching all the time. but the camera control is really good, picture quality is fabulous.

The camera quality is great, but it relies solely on the Uniden app - which is average. The key drawback is that when the Uniden server goes down, the camera becomes worthless because you can't use it. Absolutely horrendous if you are using this to monitor a child.

Not sure if we got a faulty one or it’s just a terrible product. Sent multiple notifications when all was silent but when baby cried it didn’t notify at all. Luckily JB HiFi were great and organised a quick and easy refund.
