Bricked within 2 hours of use. RMA still processing (5 to 10 working days to service, or longer as I’ve given up chasing RMA dept and 5 working days to courier back to PBtech). I love the brand and have several G3 micro working for ages, but for the price of this device PBtech should offer immediate replacement or money back under consumer guarantee act if the product as expensive as this bricks as fast as this did.

Bought 2 of these cameras for my home recently in areas that had wide open spaces and put them alongside the G3 cameras I had just bought . The wide angle view was exactly what I needed to capture movement that would have otherwise been missed by the G3. The G3 is great for a more narrower view while this G4 pro is best for large open spaces and driveways. Night vision is very clear and was easy enough to self install. I highly recommend Ubiquiti products !

It’s far more solid than the G3 cameras but it does complement them well. The standard G3 is best for narrow walkways while this G4 pro is best to driveways and large backyards. Night vision is clear and was very easy to self install. Highly recommended!

I have three of these cameras purchased from PB Tech. Easy to setup and mount. Good software etc. There is a problem with this batch but may now be fixed with newer batches. The problem is they get moisture on the inside of the lens when you first boot them up . Google for more info on this. Possible caused by fully sealed packaging and no silica gel, etc. .I found that if you plug them in prior to mounting them (e.g. on a bench) without the mount screwed on and leave them on for about 48hours with the lens facing down on a cloth (to protect the lens) . The device price is a bit steep but when you get it setup the quality shows, the optical zoom is a good feature but not something you will use a lot once all setup, compared to the G4 Bullet this stands alone for night time quality, the bullet doesn't even come close and if you have motion sensor lights then the night quality is almost like daytime, the field of view is great for driveways and open spaces like courtyards, the smart detect for vehicles and people saves a lot on storage space, if these were cheaper I would buy more.
