Had to replace my old TomTom 520 as no longer supported. New one works well and easier to use then the old version but less sounds available ( or I cannot find them!) Not yet used in Europe..

Bought it for use in Turkey on holiday from UK and it was great. Was able to work out the holiday routes on line and then down load them to the unit. Took some time to learn how to do the routing as it is not all that intuitive but was fine.

Sent item back, battery life is very poor less than 1 hr so had to have it plugged in all the time, secondly it couldn't establish a network connection with mobile os no live traffic information.

Recently I had the opportunity to do a long term test on the TomTom Via 52, which is one of the latest satellite navigation systems from TomTom.

Worst TomTom I've ever owned. Thought I'd upgrade from my tomtom start 25 to the Via 53- after an eight hour road test I've sent it back and decided I'll stuck to the sat nav I already have.

The TomTom Via 52 is an interesting proposition from TomTom. It's a sat nav that offers many of the same features as its more expensive rivals, but at a price that's not going to break the bank.

Bought about a month ago, to replace our old one. It's great, gets us from a-b with no problems. Easy to use and quick to set up.

My old VIA packed up and did not hesitate to buy another TomTom. Great features and easy to use. Very happy with it.
