Decent niche item

This seems to be a niche product to me. If you don't have any powerline adapters at all this product isn't for you. You must already have a powerline setup, need wifi coverage in a remote area of your home that's too far away for a standard wifi extender to be used, that's also not too far away to...

Plug and play with WPS Adds wifi in 'dead spots' in your home where a standard wifi range extender won't work; Can be configured as a separate wifi AP 2 year warranty 2 wired ports Led's not overly bright

Throughput is governed by the powerline signal strength; Meaning if you don't have a good connection via powerline it won't matter that you can get up to 300mbps wifi; How good this product is will depend on your home's wiring and how far away you place it from your other adapter that is connected...

A good extension to an existing wireless or homeplug network

I already have a homeplug network with WAPs in my home but needed another couple of devices to ensure full coverage, I was working to a budget and this pair fitted the requirement and the cost envelope.

Very easy to use; Plug and play; Install and setup in seconds; Excellent value for money; Wireless extender and clone

Misleading 'Up to 500 Mbps' claims; Only 10/100 Ethernet ports

Good Product, Bad Support

I hooked this up in my office at home, which is in the opposite corner and downstairs from my modem/router location. I am now able to plug in via ethernet and I have a boost in my wifi strength. It worked fine when I first hooked it up, but after a couple of days, it stopped working.

It worked

I was concerned by some of the negative reviews I'd read online but decided to give this a try. Having set up, following the very clear instructions, it worked first time. The ability to use both Wifi and the network socket meant that I could plug my PC into the unit and still be able to access the...
