TP-Link Router

Ordered this from Bt Shop, it arrived within the 4 days as promise, the box had a dent in it, but luckily the router was undamaged. I upgraded from a Netgear DGN3700v1 because the QOS was useless, the Tp-Link Archer C7 AC 1750router is really great because you can control the download speeds as well...

Best router for the price

I purchased this router to take advantage of 802.11ac and it has been excellent, it has provided my full 74mbps+ Internet speed over wifi and was so easy to replace my BT Home Hub 4.

Great value

Great value. Probably the best dual band router at this price point. It covers my 2400 sq ft house well. Firmware upgrade is somewhat cumbersome. Most routers do this automatically nowadays. I have to go to the TP-LINK website and download the correct firmware.

Highly recommended if you have internet speed above 50Mbps or need for high-speed SOHO LAN

Writing the review after using the product for about a month. PROS: * I get excellent speeds on both 11n and 11ac frequencies about 150Mbps (tested on a Inspiron N4110 Laptop) and 433Mbps (tested on OP3T / iPhone 5S / iPad Air 2) respectively when near or about a brick wall away from the router.

Two things have recently been bugging me about my TP-Link TD-W8960N Wireless ADSL2+ modem router. It was only Wireless-N and single band (2.4Ghz). Up until recently, this was fine and I never really needed anything faster or dual band.

fast!!! C7 V2

Why i say this is not for the beginner, huge menu, way to many settings would be very confusing even more so that there is no instruction book "there is online"

fast!!!

this router is not easy to setup nor is for the beginner,VERY difficult getting wireless devices linked to router; difficult changing LAN/WAN settings

TP-Link's Archer C7 suits Superfast broadband

TP-Link's Archer C7 AC1750 wireless dual-band gigabit router can be used on DSL, fibre or cable Internet services and is targeted at gamers and other demanding users who need ultrafast data transfer speeds and don't want their router to be a bottleneck.

great review online and good looking

I purchased on on black friday and product is high quality. I'm not technical and this was very easy to set-up, it really is plug and play, not like the others who claim to be. Password is a stick on the unit itself, so I never had to read the instructions.

TP-Link Archer C7 Wi-Fi Router, Dual-Band Wireless-AC1750, 4 x GLAN, 1 x WAN, 1 x USB2.0

This is a great router, when it's working right. It has a good range of features and options. The wireless performance is quite good. BUT, the 5GHz network periodically just fails under load. Restarting the 5GHz network seems to only be achievable through a power cycle.
